Activity Creation & Overview

Activities are any engagements a sales rep has with a client. This can range from phone calls, emails, in person meetings, etc.

1. Activity Creation

Any activites linked to an Opportuninty MUST have a key contact provided. You will be unable to create the activity otherwise.

1.1. From any Record Detail Page, the Activity panel will be located on the right-hand side of the page

1.2. To create a new activity, click 'Add New Activity'. Fill out the information and add a reminder and/or due date

Adding a reminder date will allow this activity to show on the Sales Rep's and Sales Manager's calendar

1.3. When saved, you can see the new activity in the table below. You can also click the 'Gears' drawer to expand the Activity

2. Activity Overview & Management

2.1. From any record page, you also have access to the 'Activity Overview' tab. This functions similar to the right hand panel; however, it allows you to sort, filter, create, and view all your activities.

This tab also allows you to create activities from within the Sales Console

2.2. Click the 'Activity Overview' tab

The Drawer allows you to expand the entire description (Useful for large eMails)

From this page, you can also view any Attachments and the Stage History for this Opportunity
