Invoice Create & Generate

When your opportunity stage is ready to be flipped to 'Customer Approval', we begin the Invoice Creation process.

Generating an invoice does not require a Customer #, though if provided the address listed under the customer # will be used. If there is no customer #, the account address linked to the opportunity will be used.

1. Go to the Opportunity Detail Page and select the 'Invoices' tab

2. Select 'Create New Invoice' and select the original quote if used. Click 'Save'

3. Upon save you will see the invoice added to the table, click the invoice name to go to the invoice detail page

4. From the Invoice Detail Page, click either 'Generate Invoice: US Reps' if you are a US Sales Rep, or 'Generate Invoice: ROW' if you are a non-us sales rep. Both buttons are located in the upper right hand corner

The reason for the two seperate buttons is that both fufill two different workflows.

Generate Invoice: US Reps

1. From the Invoice Detail Page, click the 'Generate Invoice: US Reps' button. This will generate the document

2. Clicking the button will eventually lead you to this screen. The Quote document is located under 'Attachments'

Generate Invoice: ROW

1. From the Invoice Detail Page, click the 'Generate Invoice: ROW' button.

2. This will generate the document and return you to the invoice detail page. You can find the physical invoice document in the Notes & Attachments section
