Requesting Customer #'s

For any new clients, you must request a Customer # before generating an invoice. To do this, go to the Opportunity Detail Page either by Navigating or by the Sales Console.

1. Click 'Request Customer Number' below the 'Flag for Deletion' checkbox

If this button is grey, it means you still need to link either an Account Address or Key Contact to the Opportunity

2. The confirmation popup will appear and allow you to select the key contact (if you've added more than one) you want to associate with the Customer Number

Clicking save will auto-generate a case and assign it to your Sales Administrator for Approval. You will recieve a confirmation eMail when the case is closed.

3. When saved, you will see a notification that the account has a Pending Customer Number

When the Sales Administrator approves the Customer Number, all your opportunities will be updated accordingly
