How does Contact Teams & Contact Ownership Work
Contacts don't have a single "Owner" regardless of whose created the contact.
Whenever a contact is created, the person creating the contact is automatically added to that contact's team
All filters in Salesforce function using the contact team's.
1. For Example, within the Contact Tab
The same contact could appear when 2 separate sales reps are used in filters. Since both sales reps are on that contact's team, that contact will appear in both scenarios
If your contact already exists, just add yourself to the contact team and this will enable the contact to be shown by default in places like Opportunity Creation
If during opportunity creation you select the "Other Contacts" tab when linking Key Contacts, doing so will automatically add you to that contact's team
